It's our 2nd Blogaversary at Get Creative Challenges

Well, we've reached the age of 2 years old and still keen to keep going. If you pop over to the challenge blog you can read up what we will be doing next year and you can also try out for a spot on the DT as well. Just add DT after your name when you add your entry into the challenge.
The theme for the challenge is Birthday and our sponsors are Aliciabel and Dr. Digi.
I'm a bit behind the eight ball lately as we are still coping with my brother-in-law's heart attack and all the health problems that he is having to contend with. He is still in ICU and will be for a while and possibly still in hospital at Christmas time. It's only 8 days until our son and DIL leave to live in Vietnam, I really do not feel in the festive mood.
Anyway..... onto the challenge. I have used a cute image from Aliciabel.
Here it is.....

Recipe:
SU Marina Mist cardstock for cardbase, die cut and mattes
White cardstock from stash
DP from a pack of papers from the newsagent
Image from Aliciabel - Presley with a Gift
Sentiment from Paper Smooches
SU stamp set - Happy Moments - stamped trio of gifts
Die-namics Stitched Square dies
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
Copic Markers
Wink of Stella - clear
D/S tape roller & foam dots

Hope to see you over at the challenge blog with an entry or two!

Back again with another challenge at Aud Sentiments. This time it is Anything Goes with a Sentiment and we were allowed to use anything we liked.
Here is my card...... I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and really liked it so I've cased it but used a different image, some circle dies and centred it on my card. I computer generated the Holy, Holy, Holy to use.

I've been very preoccupied with family and coping with my brother-in-laws heart attack and critical condition. He is still not very good with some more operations to come.

We would love to see you come over to the challenge blog and enter. It's such an easy challenge as you can create anything you want!!! Looking forward  to seeing  your creations.

Challenge 135 at Crafting From The Heart

Hi everyone, sorry I'm late with my post but my brother-in-law has suffered a heart attack which damaged one of his valves and he has had major surgery and has been in critcal condition and is now in an induced coma. I've been in the hospital with his wife keeping her company and trying to keep it together. He is not recovering as they would like so will be kept in a coma for several more days. I've had to let some of my normal activity slide to fit in with hospital visits and being with family.
Anyway, I don't have much time and have another post to do as well so here goes with this one.....
Our sponsor for the challenge is Art by Barb Designs and here is what I created with one of her lovely digital images.

Challenge #168 at Aud Sentiments Challenges

Oh my goodness, I thought I had scheduled this post and now I find it's not been here at all. The stress of coping with my brother-in-laws heart attack and all the ensuing health problems that he has and will have in the future, and also still being uncertain of him being here at all because his organs are not up to scratch, has taken a toll on us all and I have not been functioning well myself. So..... here I am backdating this one and a little later today (24/11/16) I will be posting the new challenge that starts today. I apologise to those who entered the last challenge who I was supposed to comment on their entries. I will still try to do that as I know I get a bit down if nobody comments on my entries into challenges.
The sponsor for challenge #168 is Aurora Wings and the theme is Anything Goes and a sentiment.
Here is the card I made....
Recipe:
SU Gumball Green
White card from stash,

I've had a busy day today with church, lunch with my daughter & granddaughter, a catch up with a friend who is coming on a short cruise with me next year and a visit to the Flight Centre to pay our deposit, coffee and chat with her and then back home again. Only home for 5 minutes before going with hubby to pick up a dressing table from a friend, then zig-zagging our way through all the back streets going to a couple of garage sales before calling in on our other daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. They were kind enough to feed us tea. Back to the youngest daughter's place to drop off the furniture and help sort out some bits and pieces for a hard rubbish pick up. Feeling tired and need a decent sleep as babysitting our 10month old grandson tomorrow.
So catch you all on my next post.

Love to see your makes this time around! Come by the neighborhood and join in the challenge!

Challenge 29 at Crafty Girls Creations

Good evening and welcome to my blog. We've had a lovely sunny day today, a visit to the craft fair and for me a lovely pancake stack for afternoon tea. Way too big so didn't finish it. A treat that I normally wouldn't eat!!! The craft fair was a bit disappointing as at least 5 of the bigger papercraft stalls were not there at all. We are last place of all the states and looks like they don't think we make them enough money to be away from their businesses. We usually get the dregs of goods as well, but I particularly thought it was poor as there was not one stall selling copic markers or offering card making workshops. My friend and I always signed up for the first class of the day in previous years. Were surprised it was also very quiet crowd wise too.
Now.... onto the reason for my post today. A new Anything Goes Challenge has started at Crafty Girls Creations and we have the fabulous A Day for Daisies as our sponsor. Love these images.
Here is what I created.... a Christmas card using an image that isn't traditionally a Christmas image but I think works well as one. Books were always on my Christmas purchases list for my kids when they were little and now with grandchildren it is still popular.

Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock for cardbase and matte
White card from stash
DP from Kaisercraft
Image from A Day For Daisies - Free Time
Tree stamp from a freebie set with magazine purchase
Sentiment from Avery Elle stamp set
Copic Markers
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
Wink of Stella pen - gold
D/S tape & foam dots

Come and join in the fun of a challenge. We would love to see your creations and it can be anything you like too!
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy
