Our sponsor this week is the wonderful Bugaboo Stamps and I chose Gus to feature on my card.
We have a 86th birthday party coming up soon so I think this card will be going to a family friend named Don. I think he would enjoy the humour.

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps   atTotally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT   for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

Bugaboo Stamps are offering a very generous prize of winner's choice of 7 single digis!
Now onto my   POTW
I chose this delightful card by Barbara from Giltterarti.......Card Creations
Loved the gorgeous flowers on this one. Pop in and see the other colour combo she used on her second card too.

MIM#135 Doing the shopping DT card

I'm on a roll!!!. Still not feeling well and came in to do my post for the start of another great Linky Party at Make It Monday this week and realised I haven't even put the card together. I had coloured the image. This is the third post in less than 24 hours all of which I have had problems. We went away Friday instead of Saturday to attend a wedding and had planned to stay the night at a friend's place not far from the wedding venue. They were going to be there Friday night but not Saturday so invited us to come down earlier and have tea with them as well. I was babysitting, hubby was working so had to tidy up the house as our youngest daughter came and house sat so she could look after our dogs. I had to make two wedding cards, one for me and one for my friend to give her daughter as she ran out of time to do it herself. I did some washing as we were running low on towels, packed my back and when hubby came home we had to take the grandchildren to our daughter's workplace so we could get going and be down there by tea time. It was rush, rush, rush. On Saturday I realised that I hadn't bought a small handbag to use so a visit to a local op shop provided one for $2. The wedding went well, although our oldest daughter was not well and thinks she got food poisoning. They left earlier and they had to stop several times on the way home. Not a pleasant trip.
I went to use my camera yesterday to take pictures of cards and found that it has been damaged and I now cant't take photos. I think my husband stood on it either when he was rushing to get dressed for the wedding or when he went to bed that night. Not Happy!!!! I don't have an i-phone so have taken pics on my phone and then posted on facebook, saved them back to the computer and then edited them from there.
What a shamozzle!!!!
Anyway, I've finally finished and would love you to have a look at the final product. If you have time please scroll down to the other two posts and maybe leave me a comment so I know someone has looked at them, LOL.
Congratulations to our featured artist Ivonne and the winning commenter Elena.
A big welcome also goes to a new teamie. Welcome to Cindy , isn't her debut DT card fabulous.

Lady of the Roses - 613 Avenue Create DT Card

Oh no, I've come home from being away for a couple of nights at a wedding and found that I had not scheduled this post, it was still in draft format (without the picture which was on my camera) and to make matters worse, I had forgotten to upload to the team blog!!!! and this is only my second time for 613 Avenue Create DT team.
So... I am posting it anyway and hope I will be forgiven. The Theme for this week is Spring Fever
Here is the card - I've had to now use my phone and then post it to facebook (sideways!!!) and then save it back to the computer because I think my husband stood on the bag that my camera was in and didn't realise he had so I have no pics and now need another camera. I am not having much luck. I tried using the scanner but because of the flower it was blurring all one side of the card.

Front of card....
inside of card (taken using the scanner)
Recipe:
SU Pacific Point cardstock for the cardbase
DP from Graphic 45 (front of card) - Secret Garden 6x6 paper pad
DP on inside from Kaisercraft as I didn't realise the above pad only contained 1 piece of the blue patterned paper (a bit odd as they usually always have 2 of everything!!! - it's a new pad)

Sentiment is from SU
Dies - Nestie grand circles
       - Cheery Lyn  Designs - Olive Branches
Memento black inpad
Copic Markers
Rose from stash

The one that didn't get away

A busy day for me today;. A trip to the dressmaker with my future DIL for both of us to try our dresses on and get last minute things fixed. I bought her back here to spend a bit of time before she needed to meet our son in town at the church to have a chat with the minister. I went off to craft where there were only 3 of us today, but we had a good time together. Back home for a short while before heading out to a meal at the hotel with my Mum and eldest brother. No choir practise tonight, so just came home and did some colouring of images. I have to make two wedding cards by tomorrow. One for my friend to give her daughter and one for us to give her - the wedding is Saturday.
Well that's another day finished and time to go to bed but I thought I would share the card I made tonight.
